Vietnamese-German artist Sam Tho Duong’s journey began in Bien Hoa, Vietnam, amidst the turbulent backdrop of the late 1970s when his family undertook a perilous voyage to Germany seeking refuge from communist rule. He pursued formal training in jewelry design at Pforzheim Hochschule für Gestaltung, establishing himself as a resident artist in Germany where he continues to hone his craft today.
