From Morocco to Parisian Couture

Elbaz’s path to fashion prominence wasn't immediate. After studying at the Bezalel Academy of Art in Jerusalem, he embarked on a period of apprenticeship and exploration, honing his skills across various ateliers. He spent time working with Geoffrey Beene in New York, then moved to Paris where he contributed to Guy Laroche and Yves Saint Laurent. Sadly, his time with AZ Factory was cut short by his untimely death in April 2021.
