Trevor Stubley (1932 – 2010) was a British painter whose distinctive landscapes and portraits captured the spirit of Yorkshire and beyond, establishing him as one of the region’s most celebrated artists. Born in Leeds, Stubley possessed an innate fascination with observation and meticulous detail—qualities that would become hallmarks of his artistic practice throughout his prolific career.
