Qiu Xiaofei, born in Heilongjiang Province, China, in 1977, is a contemporary Chinese artist whose work delves into profound themes of memory, identity, and the passage of time—concepts that permeate his layered oil paintings. Studying at Central Academy of Fine Arts in Beijing earned him a Bachelor’s degree in Oil Painting in 1998, followed by a graduate program culminating in 2002.
