Estelle Thompson: A Pioneer of Color Field Painting
Estelle Thompson (born 1960) is a British artist recognized for her distinctive contribution to the color field painting movement and her enduring legacy as curator of The James H.W. Thompson Foundation in Bangkok, Thailand. Thompson’s formative years were spent honing her skills at Montserrat College of Art in Vermont, where she earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree specializing in painting.
