Synchronicity
Ceramist Lee Seung Hee works both in Jingdezh, China, and Korea. He presented this work for an exhibition held at the Clayarch Gimhae Museum in 2020. Lee created a “universe” by filling an entire space with ceramic plates in various colors. Lee is famous for his work turning three-dimensional forms of porcelain from the Joseon Dynasty, including moon jars, into atypical planes. He continues to experiment with masterpieces in mind, including a bamboo forest made of ceramics. Each ceramic bamboo in the bamboo forest is 4 meters long.
