William Edward West
Early Life and Artistic Training William Edward West was born in Lexington, Kentucky, in 1788. His early understanding of form and line was shaped within the domestic sphere of his father, a silversmith. This initial exposure to craftsmanship provided the foundational training necessary for a life dedicated to the visual arts. Through his father's guidance, the young artist began to develop the technical precision required for his futu
