His artistic journey began with formal training at Chiang Mai University’s Faculty of Fine Arts in 1993 where he earned a bachelor's degree in sculpture, establishing a foundational understanding of sculptural techniques and conceptual exploration. Further enriching his skillset was a master’s degree from Silpakorn University’s Faculty of Painting, Sculpture, and Graphic Arts in 2001, solidifying his expertise in artistic expression and furthering his creative vision.- Early Influences: Puntusawasdi's formative years were marked by exposure to traditional Thai art forms alongside Western influences, fostering a synthesis of aesthetic sensibilities that would permeate his subsequent work.
