He pursued formal training in jewelry design at Pforzheim Hochschule für Gestaltung, establishing himself as a resident artist in Germany where he continues to refine his craft today, driven by a desire to honor both his heritage and the pursuit of artistic excellence. Duong’s distinctive style is characterized by an ingenious reimagining of commonplace materials – specifically yogurt containers – transforming them into necklaces and rings that transcend conventional perceptions of beauty and artistry. This innovative approach garnered considerable acclaim during his exhibition “lemitcA,” showcasing the delicate interplay between form and texture achieved through meticulous craftsmanship.
