Even after her passing in December 2017, Vassilyanska’s artistic presence continued to be felt. “In Memoriam” exhibitions were held at the Varna City Gallery shortly after her death, followed by a jubilee exhibition celebrating her 90th birth anniversary in 2018. The presentation of a monograph dedicated to her life and work further solidified her place within Bulgarian art history.
