Camera made by the German company Rolleiflex. It is a medium-format twin lens reflex (TLR) camera with a Carl Zeiss 28/50 double lens and matching leather carry case. Rolleiflex TLR cameras were known for their exceptional build quality, compact size, modest weight, superior optics, durability, simplicity and adaptable mechanics. They were immensely popular and imitated around the world from the moment the first model was launched in 1929, becoming an indispensable piece of equipment for professional photographers. Medium-format Rolleiflex cameras continued to be produced until 2014 by DHW Fototechnik, a company founded by former Franke & Heindecke employees, which went out of business in 2015.Although we do not know the exact model of this piece, the first medium-format camera appeared on the market in 1966, so it was probably made sometime between then and 1975.
