Abraham Anshelovich Manievich (November 25, 1881 – June 30, 1942), born Abram Manevich, was a Ukrainian-American expressionist artist of Belarusian Jewish origin. Manievich’s involvement in the Ukrainian avant-garde was pivotal. He co-founded the Ukrainian Academy of Arts alongside Alexander Bogomazov, fostering a vibrant intellectual environment. Together with Bogomazov and other artists, he established “Koltso,” a Cubo-Futurist group dedicated to exploring innovative artistic concepts.
