frank barrington craig, ook wel bekend als barry craig, was een Britse schilder van portretten en landschappen, geboren op 2 maart 1902 in Hampstead, Noord-Londen. Hij kwam uit een familie van kunstenaars, waarbij zijn vader de kunstenaar frank craig was. Craig genoot zijn opleiding aan de Rugby School en studeerde later tussen 1919 en 1924 aan de slade school of art.hoogtepunten uit zijn carrière
De artistieke loopbaan van Craig bracht hem naar Zuid-Afrika, waar hij van 1926 tot 1933 werkte als professor schilderkunst aan de michaelis school of fine art in Kaapstad. Bij zijn terugkeer naar Groot-Brittannië doceerde hij aan de saint martin's school of art in Londen tot 1950. Tijdens de Tweede Wereldoorlog verrichtte Craig camouflage-werk voor de Britse regering en werd hij door het war artists advisory committee (waac) ingehuurd om portretten te schilderen van een brandbestrijdingsteam dat gestationeerd was in Weston-super-mare.artistieke stijl en tentoonstellingen
Craig schilderde vaak landschappen in de Provence en Bretagne, waarvan een exemplaar deel uitmaakt van de uk government art collection.
