Gordon Mckinley Webber was a multimedia pioneer of modernism in Canada, working across various disciplines including painting, photography, design, and architecture. Born in Sault Ste. During his formative years, he was a student of teachers such as Arthur Lismer, J.E.H. MacDonald, and Emanuel Hahn.
