Wilhelm Schubert van Ehrenberg was a Flemish painter primarily active in Antwerp. He specialized in architectural paintings, creating depictions of real and imaginary church interiors, Renaissance palaces, and picture galleries. His professional life in Antwerp included membership in the local schutterij (militia) and the chambers of rhetoric De Olijftak and De Violieren. He entered the Antwerp Guild of Saint Luke in 1662. He was the teacher of the architectural painter Jacobus Ferdinandus Saey. His son, Peter Schubart von Ehrenberg, also pursued a career as a painter, engraver, and stage designer.
