The work of Tomasz Pietrzyk is realised in his own technique on a metal sheet. The pictorial field consists of two symmetrical planes and is inscribed in the shape of a square with the upper and lower edges evenly cut in zigzags. The sheet metal surface with a metallic grey colour is marked with parallel streaks plotted by hand in the way that imitates rhythmic creases on the surface of a folding screen, or a sort of partition wall.The specificity of the work of Tomasz Pietrzyk consists of crossing the division between the artistic disciplines.
