David Donaldson: The Painter of Highland Majesty

David Donaldson (1916 – 1996) was a Scottish limner—a painter specializing in decorative murals and portraits—who achieved renown for his meticulous depictions of Highland landscapes and his enduring service as Royal Painter to the Queen.
