Πρώιμα Χρόνια και Εκπαίδευση

Γεννημένος γύρω στο 1600 στο Chamagne, ένα μικρό χωριό στην Δουκία της Λωραίνης (σημερινή Γαλλία), ο Claude Lorrain – αρχικά Claude Gellée – παραμένει ένας από τους πιο διακεκριμένους ζωγράφους τοπίου της περιόδου της Μπαρόκ.
