James Leakey: A Devonshire Landscape Painter and Pioneer of Paleoanthropology

He collaborated with Samuel Cousins on “The Portrait of John Rashdall,” minister of Bedford Chapel, Exeter—a piece that served as a visual record of a prominent figure within Devon’s intellectual landscape.
