Over time, chemical reactions allowed the blue crystals to expand and encrust every reachable surface, turning a mundane domestic setting into a site of intense, biological-scale change. The sheer weight of the material is palpable, as the installation once filled the entire volume of the flat with its heavy, liquid presence.
This method of facilitating change allows the artwork to exist in a state of provocative ambiguity.
