Frank Charles Medworth (1892-1947) remains a quietly compelling figure within the landscape of early 20th-century Australian art. Sadly, Medworth succumbed to suicide on November 11, 1947, in Mexico City, leaving behind a legacy of remarkable talent and a poignant story of an artist grappling with personal demons.
