Maïmouna Patrizia Guerresi (1951) is linked in her first works to conceptual experiences close to Body art, in which photography and sculptural mould are the predominant means to represent a cosmic symbiosis between body, nature and myth. Until the mid-1990s she experimented with different materials such as rock dust (marble, basalt) mixed with resins, a light and resistant dough that allows her to model large shapes with minimal thickness.
