This expedition proved immensely fruitful for his legacy; Eibner produced a vast collection of drawings and watercolours, sixty-five of which were acquired by the Prince to be arranged into a magnificent facsimile album. This body of work remains a testament to his ability to translate foreign vistas into intimate, detailed records.

Beyond the mere documentation of structures, Eibner possessed a profound ability to infuse his architectural subjects with emotion and atmosphere.
