Winter Landscape is a work by Andreas Schelfhout. The artist, a Dutch Romantic Landscape Master, was born in The Hague, Netherlands, in 1787 and lived until 1870. This painting captures a frozen moment of Dutch life, where the stillness of the ice meets the movement of a community in transit.
