The group met weekly, sharing their work and offering critical feedback in a spirit of collaboration and mutual encouragement. The tensions within the group, particularly surrounding Sickert’s relationships, ultimately led to its dissolution, but it served as a crucial incubator for artistic experimentation and innovation.
