Rani život i obrazovanje
Šarl Kotet, čuveni francuski slikar, rođen je 12. jula 1863. godine u Le Puj-en-Velaju, dok je preminuo 20. septembra 1925. godine u Parizu. Svoje umetničko obrazovanje sticao je na prestižnoj École des Beaux-Arts pod mentorstvom Puvisa de Šavana i Rola, a pohađao je i Académie Julian, gde je postao deo umetničke grupe Les Nabis.
