Robert Delaunay: portrét umelca

Pionier abstrakčnej farby: Život a umenie Roberta Delaunaya

Spolu so svojou manželkou Sonio Delaunay a ďalšími vizionármi spoluzaložil hnutie orfizmus.

Kľúčové priateľstvo s Jeanom Metzingerom bolo v tomto období formujúce, keď spoločne presúvali hranice fragmentovaných tvarov a mozaikových kompozícií.

Sila „simultanéité“ a umelecký vplyv

Neskoré roky a trvajúci odkaz

Prepuknutie prvej svetovej vojny prinútilo Delaunaya a jeho manželku hľadať útočisko v Španielsku a Portugalii, kde pokračovali vo svojej tvorbe. Po návrate do Paríža v 20. rokoch 20. storočia skúmal širšie spektrum tém, vrátane portrétov a figuratívnych scén, no vždy zostal verný svojim základným princípom farby a abstrakcie.
