A Life in Color and Form Born in Bridgetown, Barbados, to parents Theodore Goodridge Roberts and Frances Seymour Allen, Goodridge Roberts was a Canadian painter whose artistic journey spanned several decades. His formal training took him from the École des Beaux-Arts de Montréal to the Art Students League of New York, where he studied under John Sloan, Boardman Robinson, and Max Weber between 1926 and 1928.
