Opmerkelijke werken uit deze periode zijn The Belated Kid, Girl at the Fountain, Hurdy-Gurdy Boy, View of the St. Johns River (1874), Woman with Cow (1874) en Niagara Falls (1878).

State Capitol in Albany, New York.
