Ge’s meest bekende werk, “The Last Supper” (1861), markeert een baanbrekende stap in de Russische kunst.

Great Interrogates Tsarevich Alexei at Peterhof” (1871).

Nikolai Ge’s artistieke nalatenschap is in recente decennia opnieuw beoordeeld.
