A Life of Industry and Art

Born in Frankfort, United States, he was a prominent figure in the development of the Canadian Pacific Railway, serving as its president and later as chairman of the board. His diverse talents extended into sculpture, architecture, and botany, reflecting a multifaceted engagement with the world around him.
