Paul Chenavard

The Studio Years Paul-Marc-Joseph Chenavard entered the École des beaux-arts in 1825. His days were spent under the watchful eyes of masters like Ingres, where he worked alongside his friend Joseph Guichard. He also spent time in the studios of Hersent and Delacroix.
