私生活

タロウの私生活は、彼が歩んだ芸術的な旅路を映し出すものでした。1874年にインゲボルグ・シャルロット・ガドと結婚しましたが、その婚姻は1886年に解消されました。その一年後、彼はノルウェーの著名な弁護士の娘であるアレクサンドラ・ラッソンとの間に再び幸福を見出しました。この結びつきから、ハラルド、イングリッド、クリスチャンという三人の子供が生まれました。芸術への探求のために長期間家を離れることも多かったものの、家族の存在は彼に安定とインスピレーションを与えていました。彼は1906年、オランダのフォルダムにて59歳で急逝しましたが、その後に残された豊かで不朽の作品群は、今なお芸術家や愛好家たちにインスピレーションを与え続けています。
