The Life and Career of Ernest Midy Born in Brussels, Ernest Midy entered the world during the late 1870s, with records suggesting his arrival in either 1877 or 1878. This Belgian painter and visual artist would eventually find his place within the artistic circles of the Molse School. His early years were marked by a quiet ambition, as he sought to prove his skill by participating in the prestigious Prix de Rome competitions in 1898 an
