• グラント・デヴォルソン・ウッドは、1891年2月13日にアイオワ州の農村地帯で生まれたアメリカ人画家です。彼の人生は、1901年に父親が亡くなった後、母親が家族をミネアポリスに移したことで劇的に変化しました。ウッドは芸術家としての旅を地元金属工場の見習いとして始め、1910年には女性によって運営され、芸術と工芸運動に焦点を当てたハンディクラフト・ギルドに入学しました。 芸術的な影響とスタイル ウッドの芸術は、正確で輝く技術で知られる15世紀のフランドル人巨匠ヤン・ファン・エイクの影響を強く受けました。
