Robert Van Den Hoecke bio je flamanski slikar, gravir i arhitekt rođen u Antwerpenu. Kao sin slikara Gaspara van den Hoeckea i Margarethe Misson, vjerojatno je bio očev učenik, a u Antwerpenu je 1644. ili 1645. godine primljen u eselestvo majstora u Svete Luci.
