Rani život i edukacija

Rođen oko 1600. godine u Chamagnu, malom selu u vojvodini Lorraine (današnja Francuska), Claude Lorrain – prvotno Claude Gellée – ostaje jedan od najslavnijih slikara krajolika baroknog razdoblja.
