Rano djetinjstvo i edukacija

Charles Jervas, irski portretni slikar, prevoditelj i kolekcionar umjetnina, rođen je u Clonlisku, u okrugu Offaly u Irskoj, oko 1675. godine. Bio je sin Johna Jervasa i Elizabeth, kćeri kapetan Johna Baldwina iz dvorca Shinrone i Corolanty, visokog šerifa okruga Offaly.
