International Modeling Career
Following her graduation, Bibi Russell embarked on a five-year modeling career, working with prominent magazines such as Vogue, Cosmopolitan, and Harper's Bazaar.
Collaborated with renowned fashion houses including Yves Saint Laurent, Kenzo, Karl Lagerfeld, and Giorgio Armani until 1994.
Return to Bangladesh & Bibi Productions
In 1994, Russell returned to her native Bangladesh and founded Bibi Productions, a fashion house dedicated to blending indigenous Bengali cultural elements with contemporary design.
By 2004, Bibi Productions employed approximately 35,000 rural weavers across Bangladesh, demonstrating a commitment to economic empowerment through artisanal work.
