    ivan milev lalev, a renowned bulgarian painter and scenographer, was born on february 18, 1897, in the town of kazanlak. he was the son of a shepherd, milyu lalev. after completing his high school education in 1918, lalev arranged an exhibition in kazanlak, showcasing his early artistic talents.
