1652 · Oil On Canvas · Cannon Hall Museum, Barnsley

A stone bridge with arched spans anchors this serene landscape, crossing a calm body of water that reflects the soft, overcast sky. Jan Asselijn: kunstneren

A Life Forged in Landscape: The World of Jan Asselijn

The Italianate Embrace & The Bentvueghels

Mastering Light & Symbolism: Key Works

Drovers with Cattle under an Arch of the Colosseum i Rom, hvilket smukt blander italiensk stil landskaber med dyrelivsstudier.

Influence & Legacy: A Lasting Impression
