This humble beginning would profoundly shape his artistic vision – a deep connection to the land and its people, interwoven with a restless spirit seeking new forms of expression. His early years were marked by the hardships of wartime Ukraine, exper
iences that instilled in him a sensitivity to human suffering and a desire to capture the essence of life’s complexities through art.
