Raný život a vzdělání

  • Edwin John Victor Pasmore se narodil 3. prosince 1908 v Chelshamu v hrabství Surrey.
  • Své rané vzdělání získal na škole Summer Fields v Oxfordu a na Harrow v západním Londýně.
  • Zlomovým okamžikem byla smrt jeho otce v roce 1927, která ho přiměla přijmout administrativní pozici na London County Council.
  • Malba se stala jeho vedlejší vášní, kterou si věnoval během studia na Central School of Art, kde navázal vazby na skupinu Euston Road School.
