Early Life, Family and Training Héctor Basaldúa was born in Pergamino, in the Buenos Aires Province, in September 1894. His early years were shaped by a steady focus on the fundamentals of form and line. In 1914, he began his formal studies in drawing at the Academia de Augusto Bolognini. This period of study provided the foundation for a career that would eventually span painting, sculpture, scenography, and illustration. He later cont
