A Life in Art and Craft Jan Baptist Herregouts was a Flemish painter, etcher, printmaker, and brewer. Born in Roermond, Netherlands, he was the son of the painter David Herregouts and Cecilia Genits. He likely received his initial training under his father and may have undertaken a study tour to Italy.
