Dionys Ganter
A Life in Pigment and Precision Dionys Ganter began his career far from the grand halls of history painting, finding his first footing in the meticulous world of clock and sign painting. Born in 1798 in Bubenbach, he was one of eleven children born to a blacksmith named Andreas Ganter.
